On
saturday the 26th of september about 30 activists arrivedunexpectedly in
front of the Milano Fair entrance, where the fashion week was at its
peak with a catwalk show of Max Mara.
MaxMara
was presenting their next spring-summer collection and there was no fur
on the catwalk, but does it make any difference when this company is
repsonsible of the death of so many animals every year for their vanity
and blood money? Of course the answer is not, that's why these
activists took with them a lot of placards, banners, megaphones and
leaflets, in order to give the journailsts waiting in front of the fair
entrance something else to write about, not only the void world of
fashion proposed by companies like MaxMara Fashion Group.
The
demo has been very loud and lasted for about 30 minutes, giving voice
to the animals skinned by MaxMara and letting them know that wherever
they go there will be demos and protests, untill they will decide to
make an ethical choice and go fur-free.
