GLOBAL WEEK OF ACTION REPORT (ITALY)

The global week of action against Max Mara Fashion Group in february has been a great success, with 22 demos in Italy and more demos taking place in the Uk, The Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Estonia.

In Italy there have been plenty of demos.
In Florence, for example, a few activists stayed 4 days in a row in front of the local Max Mara and Max&Co shops dressed as Death, with huge posters depicting the brutality of the fur trade.
Their silent protest attracted lots of interested people and had space on the media.
The Florence shops then had the usual loud and visible demos on sunday the 15th, when 4 shops were visited in a single day with banners, posters, megaphones and leaflets.

In Piacenza a lot of media and local TV Stations covered the demo, in front of the Max Mara shop right in the central square of this city.

More demos took place in Milano, Rome, Bergamo, Genova, Bologna, Modena, Forlì, Carpi, Palermo and Reggio Emilia. There is no place to hide for Max Mara and all their blood covered brands, the campaign is spreading fast all over the country, with already 35 cities in Italy alone that have seen demos at their shops!

Sofar, from november 20 'till the end of february, there have been 220 demos in Italy alone + 2 lock-on actions. And this is just the beginning!
