PROTEST AGAINST LUIGI MARAMOTTI DURING THE UNICREDIT MEETING IN MILAN (ITALY)

On thursday february 12 activists in Milano, Italy, held a protest against Luigi Maramotti, one of the owners and managers of Max Mara Fashion Group.
The Maramotti family is a really rich and financially involved one.

They do not limit themselves to own one of the biggest fashion companies in Italy, they also have big shares in some banks like Credem and Unicredit.

On february 12 Unicredit had their board of directors meeting in Milano, at their headquarters. A very important meeting followed by all the financial press. Luigi Maramotti, being in the board, was due to be there, and so were activists, standing in front of the entrance with a huge banner reading "Luigi Maramotti millions of animals die for your fault" and showing pictures of animals suffering in fur farms.

We are sure Maramotti didn't like this demo, the first one to publicly show the responsability of this man, a person that has the fate of millions of animals in his hands. He could decide to make MMFG fur-free but still he wants to promote a fashion with cruelty.

That's why the campaign will go on.

Some financial newspapers reported about the demo, and also the chants against Maramotti, along with a report of the Unicredit meeting.
