LOCK-ON ACTION AGAINST MAX&CO. IN MILAN (ITALY)

On the 23rd of december, while everyone is hurrying up for shopping and buying Christmas gifts, activists of AIP campaign had a great action against the fur industry and Max Mara Fashion Group.

10 activists did a visible and effective demonstration simbolizing the death of millions of animals, killed and skinned for their fur.
Four activists locked themselves to each other, wearing a fur coat and covered with blood. Among them one was dressed as Death with a sickle and a dead fox on her hands.

The action lasted almost two hours, attracting the attention of thousands people in the most crowded street of the city centre, right in front of the most important Max&Co shop in town.
More than one thousand leaflets were handed out and it was heartening to find so many supportive people, shocked by the action, the fake blood and the interests of Max Mara Fashion Group in this sick
industry.

The workers in the shop didn't like at all the action, even if it was not obstructing the entrance to the shop. They also came out to take pictures, probably to send them to their headquarters, already so nervous and annoyed by the campaign.

The police asked to move, but the action went on undeterred. The activists delockled themselves when it was too cold to stand on the ground and all the leaflets had been handed out.

This is just one more way to show our disgust at the fur trade at Max Mara and Max&Co, to show we have plenty of ways to inform the people on their dirty business and affect their image.

Stop the fur trade at Max Mara Fashion Group!!
