The
Global week of action against Max Mara and Escada has been called as a
week of action in the part of the year with more shopping and
consumerism in the streets, the days before Christmas. This is the best
period to confront shops with their bloody fur trade and inform people
on the horrors behind every piece of fur in the windows or on the
shelves of the fashion shops.
Italian activists honored this
week of action with 22 demos, 21 at MaxMara or Max&Co shops and 1
at the Escada shop in Milano, one of the only three Escada stores in
Italy.
As usual, demos have been different in every town,
with larger or smaller groups, info-tables or screens to show videos of
animal abuse. but the message is the same, and is extremely clear: we
want all animal abuse to stop and we are pushing MaxMara Fashion Group
and Escada to go fur-free.
Millions of animals still die every
year because of a stupid fashion promoted by companies like these two.
This is unacceptable and we will stop it!
